How to read these notes, and their limits.

General information only

Building regulations, permits and safety standards vary between countries and cities. Nothing here replaces advice from a registered architect, engineer or qualified tradesperson.

Links

Outside links illustrate a point and are not endorsements. Some lead to pages in other languages and from unrelated industries.

Gaming-related examples

Where a note uses a gaming-sector page as an example of clear information design, it does so for that purpose only. Gambling is restricted by law and age in every country.

Contact

There is no design service or enquiry desk. Corrections are applied when notes are revised; each note shows its revision date.
